The mammoth domed roof of ford field home of the detroit lions and a multi purpose indoor stadium underwent an energy efficient upgrade when its roof was restored in 2016 by beachwood ohio based tremco roofing and building maintenance. The roof also serves as a habitat for nesting birds and provides insulation for the truck plant keeping it an estimated 10 degrees warmer in winter and 10 degrees cooler in summer reducing energy costs significantly.
